Service Overview
Tree work affects more than the tree itself. Access, safety, surrounding planting, drainage, and how the rest of the garden will look afterwards all need to be considered before any cutting starts.
Tree work done badly causes more problems than it solves. A removal that damages neighbouring planting, drops on a fence, or leaves a stump that has to be ground out separately costs more in the end than a properly planned job. The same applies to pruning that ignores tree health, sight lines, or how the surrounding garden will function once the canopy changes.
Nazscapes handles tree services across Sydney as part of broader landscaping projects and as standalone tree work. That includes tree pruning, tree removal, tree lopping, stump grinding, canopy management, and replacement planting after removals. Every job is planned around the wider garden so the result improves the property rather than leaving an obvious gap.
Whether you need a single problem tree removed, regular pruning to keep trees in shape, stump grinding to clear space for new landscaping, or coordinated tree work as part of a backyard or front yard makeover, every job starts with a free site assessment. We walk the property with you, identify what needs to happen, and provide a clear written quote covering the work, access, disposal, and clean-up.

What We Cover
Each project is tailored to the site and budget, but these are the core service elements Nazscapes most often delivers.
Safe removal of trees that are dead, dangerous, in the wrong location, or affecting the rest of the property. Sectional dismantling for trees near structures.
Practical pruning to improve safety, light, sight lines, and the long-term health of the tree. Pruning planned around how the surrounding garden uses the canopy.
Targeted lopping to reduce tree height or remove problem branches, planned to balance the work with what is best for the tree long-term.
Stump removal so the area can be used for new planting, turf, paving, or landscape construction without leaving an obvious gap.
Crown reduction, thinning, and shaping to improve light to the garden below, manage shade, and reduce wind load on the tree.
Tree removal, pruning, and stump grinding coordinated with backyard, front yard, pool, or garden makeover projects so it all happens together.
New tree and screening planting after removals to restore privacy, shade, or garden structure where the original tree was working.
All branches, leaves, and timber removed from site as part of the job. The property is left clean and ready for whatever comes next.

What Clients Say
Recent feedback from Sydney homeowners who engaged Nazscapes for landscaping and outdoor construction work.
“We needed tree work as part of a broader landscape refresh and Nazscapes handled it in a way that protected the rest of the garden and improved the whole layout.”
Helen Chen
Chatswood, North Shore
“Had three large trees removed and the stumps ground out as part of a bigger backyard project. Naz coordinated the tree work with the new paving and garden beds so we only had one team on site handling everything. Clean result and no damage to the fence or neighbouring garden.”
Sam Hadid
Lindfield, North Shore
“We had a large eucalyptus pruned back significantly to let more light into the garden, then Nazscapes replanted underneath with shade-tolerant species and installed new garden edging. The difference in how the backyard feels is remarkable.”
Anita Sharma
Roseville, North Shore
Common Questions
The answers below cover the questions clients ask most often before they commit to design, construction, or staged upgrades.
Tree removal costs in Sydney typically range from $500 for small trees up to $5,000+ for large mature trees in difficult locations. The price depends on the tree size, the location relative to structures and power lines, access for equipment, the species, and whether stump grinding is included. We provide a clear written quote after a free site assessment.
In NSW, most councils have Tree Preservation Orders that require approval to remove trees over a certain size, usually based on height, trunk diameter, or species. Some species are exempt. Some councils require approval for all trees over a small threshold. The rules vary significantly by council. We can advise during the site visit and help with council application paperwork if it is needed.
Tree pruning is selective removal of branches to improve health, structure, safety, or light. Done properly, it benefits the tree long-term. Tree lopping is a more aggressive cut, usually to reduce height or remove a major problem branch. Lopping is sometimes necessary but it stresses the tree more than pruning, so we only recommend it when there is a clear reason.
Yes. Stump grinding is included in most tree removal quotes by request. Grinding the stump down 200-300mm below ground level allows new turf, paving, or planting to go in over the top. We can also leave the stump if you want it kept as a feature or if grinding access is restricted.
Yes. Trees in difficult positions are sectionally dismantled, lowering each section with ropes rather than felling the tree in one piece. This is more time-intensive than open-area removal but allows safe removal of trees close to roofs, fences, pools, and neighbouring properties. Power line work requires coordination with the electricity provider, which we can arrange if needed.
Yes. Combining tree work with backyard, front yard, pool, or garden makeover projects is one of the cleanest ways to manage it. The tree removal or pruning happens as part of the staging, the stump grinding clears the site for new work, and the replacement planting goes in as part of the broader landscape design. One team, one project, one clean result.
